In movie shooting, the camera moves in and out of different focal depth, directing audience attention to the current speaker. Our eyes behave in the similar way to fade out irrelevant background imagery by adjusting the focal point during face-to-face conversation. In the case of videoconferencing, FocalSpace helps to create natural "focus" effect and break the inherent constraints of a "flat screen".
