Yuhan Wang
Yuhan Wang is a designer and researcher working on tangible interfaces across multiple scales, from personal devices to architectural and built environments. He is currently a Visiting Student at Tangible Media Group and is pursuing a Master of Design Studies at the Harvard Graduate School of Design. He previously studied Computer Science and Interactive Media Arts at New York University Shanghai.His work explores how physical interfaces shape HCI through materiality, embodiment, and spatial integration, spanning interactive installations, shape-changing systems, and tangible interfaces embedded in everyday objects and built environments.More recently, his research focuses on embedding AI into tangible interfaces, examining how physical artifacts can become intelligent, responsive media that connect memory, making, and machine intelligence.His work has been published at leading venues including TEI, ISMAR, UIST, and NeurIPS, and exhibited internationally, including at the KAKEMO Museum and the Shenzhen–Hong Kong Biennale. He is the recipient of multiple international awards, including the Asia Design Prize and the IDA Silver Award.
