Quincy Kuang is an industrial designer with a deep passion for hardware design. He thrives on transforming ideas into tangible realities through meticulous prototyping and fabrication. Quincy’s designs are crafted to spark curiosity and invite interaction, encouraging users to explore and engage with his creations.Quincy holds a bachelor’s degree from the Rhode Island School of Design and a master’s degree from Harvard Graduate School of Design. Before joining the MIT Media Lab, Quincy honed his skills as an industrial designer at 3D printing companies like Formlabs and MakerBot. He also founded and led Spatial Dynamics, an industrial design consultancy in Cambridge, where he partnered with startups from MIT and Harvard to bring their visions to life through conceptualization, visualization, and prototyping.Quincy’s work has been recognized by prestigious international design platforms, including the Red Dot Design Award, IDSA, and the New York Product Design Awards
