Lucy LiM.S. Candidate
Lucy is a designer and researcher with a focus on interaction design. Her works are critical and intrinsically optimistic. Through prototypes she illustrates bold alternatives to the present and make choices experienceable that are difficult to imagine. Her passion lies in human human interactions meditated by technologies and more than human perspectives in a time of climate crisis.
Lucy holds a Masters degree in Industrial Design from the University of Applied Arts, Vienna advised by Anab Jain, Studio Superflux and was a visiting student at University of Lapland, Finland, where she learned about design methodologies tailored to the unique environmental, cultural, and political challenges of the Arctic region.
Her cooperation partners and clients include Sámi Education Institute, Wirtschaftsagentur Wien and Het Nieuwe Instituut. Her works are part of international exhibitions and festivals: London Design Week (GB), Vienna Design Week (AT), Ars Electronica (AT), Nordic Film Festival NO), Museum of Applied Arts (AT), Triennale di Milano (IT), Shenzhen Biennale (CN).
Lucy is the recipient of the Austrian Fulbright Student Scholarship.
