Laura Spies
Laura is a researcher and master’s student in Digital Health at the Hasso Plattner Institute and research assistant at Charité - Universitätsmedizin Berlin. Her work lies at the intersection of affective computing, digital health, and tangible and embodied interaction. At the Tangible Media Group, she explores human–AI interaction, TeleAbsence, and embodied experiences, with a particular interest in technologies that support memory, emotional continuity, and quality of life across the lifespan, and in designing systems that make internal states tangible, relatable, and experientially rich.
