Alice HongAlumni
Alice is a multidisciplinary researcher who loves storytelling in all forms - visual, tactile, experiential.
Currently, she is a master candidate in the Tangible Media Group at MIT Media Lab. Her research focuses on programmable materials, human-computer interaction, and digital fabrication. Alice's background is in Fiber Science and Apparel Design with a B.S. degree from Cornell University. Prior to joining the Lab, Alice has experience in computational knitting machines, body scanning technology, and product development with Accenture and various R&D companies. She believes everything is connected and envisions our lives seamlessly interconnected with HCI, Material Science, Design, and Engineering.
She loves touching textiles, electronic music, going out in nature, and playing with any new interfaces.
