Sean Follmer
M.S. Candidate
Sean Follmer is a physical interaction designer pursuing a masters degree from the Tangible Media Group at the MIT Media Lab. He holds a BS in Engineering, Product Design and a minor in Computer Science from Stanford University. While at Stanford he researched with the HCI group working on prototyping tools for physical computing with Scott Klemmer and Bjoern Hartmann. He also researched with Hayes Raffel at Nokia Research on networked toys. His research has been presented at NIME, ACM SIGACESS, and the Maker Faire. He is an editor for Ambidextrous Magazine, the Stanford Design Journal. In his free time he enjoys cycling the hills of Northern California, day dreaming, listening to music and watching classic films projected on the side of buildings.
