Yao Wang is a master student in Urban Studies and Tangible Media Group. His
research interests include tangible interfaces for computational simulations,
as well as real-time scene acquisition and visualization. As an undergraduate,
Yao was interested in architectural design and received his B.Arch degree from
Tsinghua University. He has worked as a free-lance architectural designer in
Beijing. While at MIT, he joined the Design Tech group in Architecture and has
worked with TMG on the Illuminating Clay project. Outside the lab, Yao likes
food, lizards, karting, and roller coasters.
