Brad Kaanta is a master's candidate in the Tangible Media Group. His research interests include force-feedback in Human Computer Interactions (HCI) and passive sensor arrays.

As an undergraduate, Brad studied Electrical Engineering at MIT and specialized in electromagnetic and hybrid digital-analog circuits. Starting his freshman year, he worked in various MIT labs including the Laboratory of Electromagnetic and Electronic Systems (LEES) and the Bioinstrumentation Laboratory. Brad also helped with course development in the Undergraduate Electronics Lab. He began working with TMG his senior year on virtualGears, a Sensetable application. When not in lab Brad enjoys running, rollerblading, Frisbee, sailing and cooking.
