Ben Piper is exploring ways to reinvest the feedback mechanisms of the physical universe into the computer interface. In this way it is hoped that the computer as a design tool, can more closely represent the physical nature of architectural space.

As an undergraduate, Ben studied architecture at the University of Cambridge. His undergraduate thesis was an evaluation of decentralized design in the Bhutanese refugee camps of Eastern Nepal. Since being an undergraduate Ben has worked as a junior architect in London and San Francisco. He has also completed a number of free-lance architectural design projects.

Ben Piper gained his MA in architecture at the University of Cambridge and completed his MS at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 2002 . He has been involved in a number of design and interactive projects and is currently working as an architectural consultant in Turin.
